Give You Thanks, Lord!
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11)I wanted to give thanks to the Lord...for the many things He has blessed us lately. I can't express through my facial expression but deep down in my heart...I am just so grateful. Even at times when I have fully forgotten what I have asked for from Him in prayers, the Lord did not forget the words I have confessed in Faith.
I have been praying for some time for my mum's salvation. Although, I cannot see the immediate manifestation of answered prayer, I hold on to my Faith that one day...just one day, God will make it happen. True & truly...I see that day is drawing near because my mother told me that she wants to follow me to the church this Sunday. Praise The Lord!
I was so happy to hear that when she told me yesterday. I feel an inner voice in my heart telling me, "Shir,I have not forget what you have prayed for in Faith, I do remember." Oh man....It is just so awesome.
Then came another good news.
Everyone knows about current market situation - retrenchment etc etc... and I have been praying that Lord will secure Terence's job. His company has given them a notice just early this year that all increment shall freeze for this whole year due to market crisis. Never never would I expected to receive an SMS from him yesterday that He received a pay rise from his boss. A good and shocking news to me because It is something I have never expected. I only pray in faith for job security but what the Lord given us in return is abundant blessing. Thank you, Lord!!
His boss even told him to keep that to himself. You know....even tho the increase is not a lot, I still want to thank God for all these blessing. It's hard to tell you exactly how I feel...I just feel that My God is ALIVE...in fact, He is ALIVE and I am so glad that I serve a Living God!
Thank You, Lord Jesus !
Glory unto the Lord ~
