SuperStar Virgo
Finally, Terence and I decided to bring the kids on a 3D2N cruise during the June school holidays. One of the reasons for this decision is mainly because we wanted the children to experience taking different mode of transportation. They have tried the planes but not ship and so, we decided this holiday will be a good one to bring them.
Of course, they were excitedly about it and definitely looking forward to this trip. We made our bookings at the Star Cruise centre last Saturday. This time round, my sister-in-law and her family will be joining us, together with my mom and helper.
The ship will bring us to Redang Island, located in Malaysia and we will stop over for a period of 6 hours where the children can experience sea sports like snorkelling and diving as well as discovering beautiful corals.
I know the children will enjoy themselves as they soak under the bright,warm sun! - Just like under the bright, warm arms of our heavenly Abba :-)

God Abundant Grace...
I have wanted to write on this some time back but somehow, it was delayed.
Perhaps, I know why it is so now…
Have you experience God’s grace?
I do. In fact, many times we just allow good things to happen without reflecting or asking ourselves “How it happened?”
You know, we are just so busy with our daily routine and our mind is so occupied with things that we hardly find a time to reflect…
I finally got a chance to sit and quiet myself before the Lord as my mind flashed back recent events.
Remember I wrote on NPVC Art Competition in the month of Nov last year. Zenden’s artwork won the top 10 prizes. Besides the trophy, he walked away with $110 Popular voucher and a full set of art materials. That is God’s grace and I am thankful for that but little did I know God has more for us. Last month, I received a surprise email from NPVC informing me that Zenden’s art piece has been selected by Singpost (Singapore Post Office) to make into stamps!
WoW, that’s really a surprise to us. Deep within our heart, we know… that is not only God’s grace, it is Abundant grace (Unearned, unmerited favour) and as a child of God, we received His grace with open hands.
And just right before writing this post, one particular verse caught my attention.
That is Proverb 10:6 where it says…
Blessings are on the head of the righteous.
And I know what the Lord is trying to tell me…Because we are the child of God, we are made forever righteous in Christ and because we are righteous, Blessing are on us…Blessings are on THE (definite article) head of the righteous. Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus!

In His love always...
As I made my way to work this morning, as usual, I listened to worship songs and singing along…looking out of the window…enjoying the beautiful clear blue sky, I felt God is near.
I felt He is watching over me. A joy sets within me…I can’t explain…it is a joy from within and I felt loved. So, I started to pray aloud in the car, “Lord, thank you for blessing me. Thank you that you have blessed my day. Lord, I rejoice because this is the day you have made and I will rejoice in it. In Jesus name, Amen!”
The moment I arrived and get settled in the office, took out the bible and started my quiet time with Him. Today’s devotion brought me to – Roman 8:23
He who did not spare His own son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Isn’t God awesome?
Just a moment ago, I felt His love and right here, He is assuring me of His love!
As I began to read this verse slowly and repeatedly, the more I felt His love for me…I felt He is embracing me…it is an amazing experience!
I feel good, really good! Thank you, Lord!
Especially when we go through a trial, when situation seems unfavorable to us, when the devil set in us thoughts doubting God’s love for us…it is time to dive into God’s word and bring in the cross, for God’s love is displayed forever at the cross!
Never ever allow anyone to tell you God doesn’t love you because it is a lie!
Simply look to the cross and you will see His everlasting love…
