Last night was my first lesson at BSF. Kind of excited and definitely looking forward to attend.
Met up with my DL, Emily, for the first time. A very pleasant and helpful lady :-)
Last night lesson covered 2 chapters on the book of Numbers where I saw discontented people complaining about their hardship & food, discontented leaders and how God deal with them.

So what have I learnt? I learnt that by complaining, I get nothing and not only that, it displeases God. Yet, many a times in life, I seems to be living in a complaining realm. When I reflected about my complaint, I realised that what I have been complaining about are just small issues like food, what to eat, where to eat.... without realising that many people in other part of the world are suffering from hunger. This lesson makes me realise how fortunate I am to be living in this part of the world and not the other.

I really have alot more to learn from God's word and to apply them in my daily life.

I read on 1 Timothy this morning.

As I continued reading, I get to see God's grace and mercy once again.
Paul, who was once a sinner, after being saved, became a foremost saint. Paul said in verse 15,Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinner - of whom I am the worst.

He said so because he was onces blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man.(V13)Yet, our Lord did not disqualify him from serving Him. It simply show me that God's grace and mercy were enough to cover his past and enable him to serve God and we should never feel that our past makes us unable to be used by God.

As I reflected on myself, didn't I the same like Paul formly? Though I am not violent but I was also once a blasphemer,a persecutor. Whenever I came across people, be it strangers or friends who tried to share with me the Good News, I listened with a deaf ear. There are even times when I whispered beneath my tone "Ah... shut up, will you!"

God knew what I did EVEN though I did not say out loud. He probably see my harden heart which probably explained why I wasn't saved during my sec. days.(Many of my friends are Christian.) Even when I am unfaithful, He is still faithful. His BIG heart and unlimited patience simply displayed His Love.

Despite of what I did in past, He still qualify me to serve him in ministry. It was indeed the exceeding grace of God. I thank God for His word this morning. I thank God for His mercy and grace. I feel so bless...

Ha...don't get me wrong, It's not about me, It's our house :-)
We had change the colour of all the rooms yesterday.The painters came and completed the work within a day. Great!

It definitely give us a fresh feeling after changing the colours. Hmm...it's brighter and....makes me feel like I have just shifted here.

Too bad that I can't post in the pix but nonetheless, the children like the colour of their room very much :-)
