I love what I read this morning. Here is what it says:

Zayden went 2nd round of shooting today cos the Director,Christine, was not satisfied with the first round shots. So, here it is...Round 2!

SA1 starts this week. Today is English Paper 2, follow by Chinese P2, Mathematics & Science.
At the time of my writing, English P2 has ended. *Hurray!*

I can tell that many parents are stress out during this week. Well, I understand cos I myself, honestly, are tired. Not so much of "Stress" but having to sit at the study table revising schoolwork with Zenden daily after returning home from work is really tiring.

Sometimes, I really wish that I can have that "Bo Chap" attitude, leave him to handle his own schoolwork but in the end, I always end up "Chap~ing"..Haiz...I believed I am not the only one lah, many parents are just like me. We "Care too much".

I don't remember my mum "chap~ing" me so much in my schoolwork when I was young and I still survived, still managed to pass and move on. But now, my turn being parent, I seems to "Chap" alot...LOL! No wonder people say, "No matter how old are your children, in your eyes, they are always children." - Guess it is right.

I always remind myself to care for their schoolwork but not "Stress" in their schoolwork. God's word plays an important reminder...

All your children shall be taught by the Lord..Isaiah 54:13

Only knowing that, I learn to rest because God say so himself, He will teach them, He is their Teacher, He is their Wisdom. As for me, my part is to coordinate with the Lord by flowing along with Him.

So...finally I got back 8 photos from the agent. :-) & as promised, here it is....

SIL said Zayden was tired at the end of the taking. Overall, he followed instruction well & he enjoyed himself very much :D

Zayden was busy busy choosing his favourite clothes since last night. He was excited as my Sis-In-Law (SIL) is going to bring him to the model agency to have his photo done up this afternoon. Thank God, this is for free. The agent will then place his picture in their portfolio for production house selection for any future advertisement or magazines modelling.

This boy really loves posing and since the time when he knows that he is going for the photo shot, he has been posing at home for us to see. LOL!

Well, I take it as a good experience for him to expose himself and since he loves to pose, I believed he will enjoy his time there. And if God is blessing him with an assignment, his first fruit (paycheck), we will tithe back to the Lord, to bless the Lord and thanked Him for everything.

** I hope I get to keep 1 or 2 pictures. Promise to share if I do get..heehee.

Here I am now counting down to next Thursday (13th May 2010) - End of SA1!

I am in the midst of reading this book "How to live Worry-Free", a book by Kenneth Hagin Jr.
I believed I did not pick up this book at the Rock Book store by accident. As I began to read, I felt God has something to say to me which I have seem to miss many a time.

I know God's word clearly states that We are to cast ALL our care upon the Lord, for He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7) I knew this verse long before, but I have missed something and that is I DID NOT obey completely! Many times, I only cast certain issues upon the Lord, issues which I think is important enough...but I have missed the point!

As God opened my eyes to read AGAIN, I realised that He did not say "Certain issues" but "ALL". And when God says "ALL", He meant EVERYTHING!

And what happened when I obey and do that?

Cast your burden on the Lord. and He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
- Psalm 55:22 -

This is the first time I SAW that. Thank you, Lord!

So, God is saying...I hold up my end of my bargain, so to speak, by casting my burdens on Him, and let Him [God] hold up His end of the bargain. My part is to do all the casting, and He is to do the sustaining! Hallelujah!
