Things in the family are settling well. The boys get along well with the new helper and so far, the helper did a pretty good job in her daily work. Praise God.
This morning, as I set aside my time for Him, the verse in Mark 8:29 came to mind. Jesus asked His disciples, "But who do you say that I am?" I started to think....beside saying Jesus is Christ, just as how Peter answered, do you know that how you see Jesus determines what you receive from him? If you see Jesus as your healer, you will receive healing. If you see Jesus as your refuge and fortress, you will receive protection.
In Matthew 13:58, It is written "And He did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith." It refers to the people of Nazareth, Jesus' hometown. The people in Nazareth saw Jesus in the natural. They said of him, " Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brother James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us? (Mat 13:55-56) They only saw Jesus in the natural. They did not see Him as God in the flesh and as a result, He could not do many mighty work there.
So friends, this question is thrown back to you today, "Who do you say Jesus is?" Maybe you are facing some problems today, be it family, finances, career or health etc....how you answered this question depends on how you see Jesus. And how you see Jesus will determine how and what you receive from Him. Do you see Him like the people of Nazareth ? or do you see Him as a mighty God who will deliver you out of your current situation?
See Him as your God, as everything He claims to be in His word, and He will do mighty works in your life!
Bless His name~
