Praise be to God! Zenden passed his Piano Examination :-)

I vividly recalled that morning before bringing him for the examination. Like many parents would, I acted "Cool" but honestly, I was a little 'Kan Cheong' asif I was the one taking the examination. Imagine, a young child to enter a big (I mean "real Big") studio alone, playing a piano standing right in the middle of the studio for a stranger whom he never met before can be a stressful thing. But Thank God, Zenden was all cool that morning. He was calm and definitely God's presence is with him. He simply look fearless.

While waiting for his turn, we had a little conversation.

Me: Zen, how you feeling?

Zen: Hmm..ok.

Me: Don't think of the examiner, just play as you are playing for Jesus. He is with you in the room. Just play for Him.

Zen: ok.

Me: Remember if you can't hear the examiner clearly, remember to say "Pardon me?"..don't "Har..?!?!"

Zen: Ok..

Me: After greeting the examiner, adjust your seat properly, take your time...pray...when you ready, then you begin, understand?

Zen: I know.

Here comes his turn....and 10 minutes later, he came out.

Me: How? Did you complete all songs?

Zen: Ok...I played all without stopping.

Me: Oh, good job. It's finally over.

Zen: Mummy, the examiner is so funny. The way he talks so funny. He said I play well.

Me: Oh..because he is from London so maybe you are not use to the way he speaks. Guess what, I sort of saw him when the door opened just now, hmm...he look alittle like Santa Claus ;p

Zen: Hahaha....yaya. :-)
