E.X.A.M

Today is the start of the examination schedule and Zenden is having his English Paper 1 now - or have just ended his composition paper. After recess will be another hour of Listening Comprehension + spelling + dictation for him. I kind of trying to recall if I used to have that much when I was at his age....honestly, I can't remember. Ha!
Anyway...glad that 1 paper less after today. Yeah!
The happiest should be the P6s as the PSLE ended just 2 days ago. Had a chat over sms with Jess to find out how it was going for her as her son prepared for the exam - only to find out that this year the PSLE Math was TOUGH! In fact, I heard from my colleague that her nephew also have problem with the math paper and it seems like everyone is feeling the same - Math Paper is too TOUGH!
As I surfed the net, I started to realised how tough it was....one parent actually put up one Math problem sum on forum and guess what, the solution to that question needs at least 6 steps (Almost 1 page of A4 paper!!) Even some top students in well known school cannot complete their papers on time and some even broke down in tears when they came out of the examination hall.
Many parents are obviously unhappy about how the questions were set as they claimed that even some Secondary students are unable to solve the questions.
I guess not only those taking their exam are stress....the parents are stress as well. Hopefully, MOE will make some adjustment to benchmark the score.
