Mr. Smiley
I always crack my head when it comes to preparing meal for the kids. You may think...should be easy what. Yes but unfortunately, both of them like different food. :(
I find it easier to prepare for
Zayden cos he enjoys rice and noodles just like what we have in our daily meal but for
Zenden, he doesn't.
Zenden loves western food, spaghetti, pizza...anything you name as long it is not rice. Whenever he sees that rice is on today's menu, you will see that frown on his face :-(
Sometimes it really frustrate me cos I am running out of ideas what to make for him.
Argh.
Only when I spoke to Yin Yin that I realised I am not the only one having this problem.
Apparently,
Theodore (Zen's classmate) is the same. So, most of the time, she will cook Spaghetti for him too. Very "
Ang Mo" right?
Haha....
I tried to figure out why he doesn't like rice and found out that the problem is not "rice" itself. You see, our brain control our overall. If your brain start thinking that "Rice" is not nice, it will automatically transmit this info to your thoughts and to your tongue. Hence, whenever you see "Rice", you will reject them.
I started trying to do some "Make Up" to the food. I decorate it so that it look nice, to trigger the brain to transmit good thought to the tongue. So, here is what I prepare that day for him and named it "Mr.Smiley" - Garlic Rice.

He finished
everything on the plate except Mr.
Smiley's hair which is parsley.
Through this, God taught me something. That is, What you place in your brain will be how it turns out in your thoughts and action. Place good thoughts in your brain and you shall receive positive thinking (Good Thoughts) which will be a blessing to others (Action).
Thank you, Jesus.
