Sprained Right Ankle

Zenden sprained his right ankle during his PE lesson yesterday. When Mr Yeo, his form teacher called, the first thought was "Oh, no..." cos usually teacher will only contact parents when our child is unwell or misbehave in school. Likely the case, unwell cos Zenden was on MC just 2 days before due to fever & stomach pain.
When Mr Yeo told me that he sprained his ankle, I thought it was just minor but I was wrong. When I arrived at the General Office to pick him, I was shocked to see his right foot bandaged like a dumpling! He couldn't stand and walked by himself. Luckily, his PE teacher, Mr. Guffur came to the rescue. He assisted me to carry him to the car. Wasting no more time, we (my MIL, Ah Yi & me) hurried him to the Chinese 跌打.
We waited for almost 40-45 mins before the 跌打师父 attended to us. Having looked at his leg, he untied the bandage and started using his mighty strength to pull his toes one by one. At this point, Zenden was already screaming + yelling + crying in the room. 2 more assistance came over immediately to assist. They were trying to hold on to his leg as he was struggling hard to resist. The cool look 师父 ignored him totally, continued to rub his ankle despite his screaming. In a while time, he said, "好了. 站起来走!"
I helped him out of the bed but Zenden was reluctant to stand properly, fearing the pain. When he placed his injured foot on the ground, the 师父 asked him to move forward. After much coaxing, he managed to move a step. Although it may be painful to walk, he will still have to try moving else, recovery would be more difficult.
Today, he is much more better. At least, he can walk slowly by himself in school.
